Actor Vikram has officially begun work on his next big project, tentatively titled ‘Chiyaan 63.’ The film, directed by Anand Shankar, marks the duo’s reunion after Iru Mugan. Ever since the project was announced, excitement has been high among fans eager to see the actor in another action-packed role. With production now underway, fresh reports about Vikram’s remuneration for the film have become a major talking point in the industry.
Vikram takes home Rs 20 crore for the film
According to industry tracker Mukil Vardhanan, Vikram has reportedly agreed to a remuneration of Rs 20 crore for ‘Chiyaan 63.’ Interestingly, the amount is said to be lower than what the actor earned for some of his recent projects. Sources claim that the altered dynamics of the market could have been another reason for this choice, with Vikram selecting a balanced package. In addition to the fixed salary offered to the actor, there is also an additional share from the movie’s profits. Nonetheless, the makers have not yet confirmed the reports.
‘Chiyaan 63’ first glimpse raises expectations among fans
The makers recently released a teaser called ‘First Flame,’ giving us a sneak peek into the movie. In the teaser, we see Vikram making an attractive entry through smoke-laden images, accompanied by strong background music by Santhosh Narayanan. Actress Riya Shibu plays the female lead, while veterans M. S. Bhaskar and Urvashi have also joined the cast in important roles. The film is expected to hit theatres either by the end of 2026 or in early 2027.

Vikram is an artist who has always been capable of changing his image in every genre.
