A wave of new generation actors have hit Bollywood and they all have very successfully proved their worth with their works so far. Shilpa Shirodkar recently picked her favourites from the new bunch of actors.

New generation actors

Talking to NDTV, Shilpa revealed that she is a big fan of Alia Bhatt. According to her, she’s one of the finest actors in this generation. She also mentioned Saiyaara fame Aneet Padda and added that she likes Nayanthara a lot.

Daughter to enter films?

With so many star kids entering films, Shilpa was asked if her daughter Anoushka plans to follow the same path. Shilpa revealed that for now, Anoushka isn’t interested in joining the industry. Instead, she has recently moved back to London to pursue a master’s degree in law and is currently focused on her studies.

Bond with Madhuri Dixit

In the same interview, Shilpa fondly spoke about her former co-stars, including Madhuri Dixit and Madhoo. She mentioned that she shares a special, almost familial bond with Madhuri. Even though they aren’t in touch at the moment, Shilpa feels that whenever she meets her old colleagues again, it will be just like picking up from where they left off.

Upcoming projects

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shilpa was last seen in the popular television reality show, Bigg Boss. The actress will next be seen in Jatadhara. The film stars Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu Posani in the lead roles. Apart from this, she also has Shankar: The Revolutionary Man in her pipeline.
