Daniel Radcliffe talks about life of being a father

Doting dad Daniel Radcliffe says 'My son’s weird accent is a brilliant thing'

Daniel Radcliffe is best known for his leading role in the ‘Harry Potter’ film franchise. He is known to be extremely down-to-earth and keeps most of his personal life away from prying eyes. However, here and there, he ends up revealing adorable details about his life as a father. In one of his recent conversations, when the actor was sharing details about some of the brilliant things in life that he is grateful for, he could not help but gush on about his son.

Daniel Radcliffe talks about his son and his private life

While in conversation with E! News, the host asked him about some of the brilliant things in his life, in connection with his latest Broadway feature, ‘Every Brilliant Thing’, and Radcliffe could not stop gushing about his son. He said, “My list of brilliant things is entirely comprised of things my son says or does right now. My son’s weird accent, I’d say, is a brilliant thing, because he’s obviously pulled between me—English—and the rest of who he knows, which is American. And so he’s just got this great, weird little voice. You can never predict how he’s going to say a word.”He further related his Broadway show to his child, citing that him and the playwright talked about the matter and revealed that children can bring a lot of magic to the play. Further on, he cited that they discussed the matter of a sequel as well, though the only way for that to happen would be for the character in the play to have children. He added the sequel can only happen because “it would be because the character had children and just thousands of more brilliant things happen when you’re with them.”

Daniel Radcliffe’s son does not know that his father is famous

In another interview with PEOPLE, the actor had gotten candid about life, and added that his son has absolutely no idea about how popular his father is. Not only that, but Radcliffe also shared more about how his son reacted to him being on a TV commercial while being at home.He shared, “I had walked out of the room, and suddenly the ad for the show came up, and he’s never seen anything I’ve done or been aware of any of that stuff. He just goes, with the tone of voice that was like, ‘I’m not crazy right?’ He just goes, ‘Dada?’ Then he was like, ‘Did he leave?’ because he thought because I left the room that I had then suddenly appeared on the TV.” Further, he concluded that “You know your job is a bulls— job when you can’t describe it to a child.”Daniel Radcliffe shares his son with his long-time partner, Erin Durke. His son, whose name the couple has chosen to keep private, turned 3 years old in April this year. Go to Source
