Ajay Devgn’s Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 3’, releasing on October 2, is set to differ significantly from the original Malayalam film, with the makers having drastically altered the plot and twists. Adding to the excitement, acclaimed KGF composer Ravi Basrur has been brought on board to compose the music.

After news that the Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 3’ wrapped up shooting made headlines a few days ago, the team is now setting its sights on the film’s October 2 release date. The original Malayalam version hit screens last month on May 21, and fans are now eagerly wondering how closely the Hindi adaptation will follow its storyline.

According to Bollywood Hungama, ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Drishyam 2’ in Hindi were quite similar to the original films. But the Hindi ‘Drishyam 3’ will be an exception. The makers have drastically altered the plot and twists. At the same time, they have made sure that it does justice to the world of Drishyam. The makers are also excited about the new additions. It is said that Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj have delivered great performances. At the same time, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran and others have once again delivered fine performances.

‘KGF’ composer Ravi Basrur joins Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 3’

One of the most exciting aspects of the film is Ravi Basrur’s music composition; he is the acclaimed composer known for his powerful work in ‘KGF’, ‘Salaar’, ‘Marco’ and ‘Toxic’. This is also not the first time Basrur and Ajay Devgn have joined forces, as the two previously collaborated on ‘Bholaa’ (2023) and ‘Singham Again’ (2024).

Presented by Star Studio18, Drishyam 3 is a Panorama Studios production helmed by Abhishek Pathak, who also co-wrote the script alongside Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. The film has been produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, and is all set to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
