BIG LEGAL ACTION: Attempt to Murder FIR Filed Against Khan Sir in Patna Coaching Firing Case

In a major escalation in the Patna coaching institute firing case, police have registered an FIR against educator Khan Sir under charges of attempt to murder and the Arms Act at Kadamkuan police station. The development comes amid an intensifying investigation into the violent clash and alleged firing incident linked to rival coaching groups in the city. According to police sources, the FIR has been filed on the basis of evidence and statements recorded during the ongoing investigation, including testimonies from individuals already arrested in the case. Khan Sir’s two security guards have been taken into custody and sent to Beur Jail after being linked to the firing incident through viral video evidence. Officials stated that the guards have reportedly admitted to their involvement in aerial firing during the incident. Investigators are now examining whether any instructions were issued from higher levels and whether there was any attempt to mislead authorities through initial statements made after the clash. Khan Sir had earlier been questioned for nearly three hours at his coaching institute by a police team, and a fresh round of interrogation is expected as authorities continue to reconstruct the sequence of events. Police are also considering summoning him to the SSP office for further questioning. Meanwhile, his whereabouts have not been officially confirmed, and his legal team is reportedly exploring options, including possible anticipatory bail, as the investigation intensifies. Authorities have not yet issued any official statement from Khan Sir’s side regarding the FIR. The case has gained further attention due to viral CCTV footage and counterclaims from both sides involved in the coaching dispute. Police are also reviewing earlier incidents, including allegations of vandalism of rival coaching materials, as part of a broader investigation into the escalation of tensions.
