'Enduring strength of Sangh': Kumar Mangalam Birla lauds RSS for its century of service

.

Industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla on Thursday praised the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, saying the century-old organisation has consistently stood by society and the nation through its work over the years.Birla made the remarks while addressing the concluding function of an RSS volunteers’ training camp in Nagpur, where RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat delivered the keynote address.“Amid challenges, RSS has always stood with the society and nation. That to me, is the enduring strength of the Sangh, a belief that service must grow with purpose and that nation-building and character-building are lifelong commitments that we must make,” Birla said in his address, as cited by PTI. Birla also reflected on the shifting global order and the opportunities and challenges it presents for India.“Even though these are challenging times, this is India’s time. The world has been caught between the competing ambitions of the superpowers,” he said.Highlighting the transformative potential of emerging technologies, Birla noted that “artificial Intelligence is at our doorstep. This AI revolution is likely to transform economies and impact many more people than any other recent technological invention.”He said the current period of global uncertainty coincides with a critical phase in India’s development journey. “This global flux has not had equal outcomes. The challenge for India is that this flux exists at a time when India is on the threshold of its Amrit kaal (era of nectar),” he said.Emphasising the need for preparedness, Birla added that the most important lesson from history is the value of strengthening national capabilities and resilience.
