Minogue revealed that she is definitely getting pickier with her potential significant other after she realised that she was fine following her last breakup. “No, I don’t have a boyfriend,” she said during an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, before adding, “I was in a relationship and when that ended I realised I was OK on my own.” Furthermore, when she was asked whether she noticed any red flags during a relationship, she claimed, “Narcissists.” She continued, “I’ve dated one, and I’m very grateful I now have that knowledge. That’s like my red hot ‘no.’”Revealing the love of her life, Minogue took the name of the late INXS star Michael Hutchence, whom she dated for two years from 1989 to 1991. “Yes, probably [was the love of my life]. I’ve had lots of relationships, some were love, some were not,” she admitted, before adding, “My relationship with him, or our relationship at the time, was not for that long, but it had a profound effect on me.”
