Actor and YouTube star Satyendra passes away due to health issues; Police confirm death

Reports say he had been suffering from health issues for the past few days and breathed his last today at the Royapettah Government Hospital in Chennai. The police have also confirmed the news of his demise. Originally from Bengaluru, Satyendra was known not only for acting in films but also for his unique style of film reviews on YouTube.

Police confirm Satyendra’s death at Royapettah hospital

According to police officials, Satyendra died while undergoing treatment at the Royapettah Government Hospital. Sources also revealed to Cinema Vikatan that the authorities are trying to contact his relatives in Bengaluru. As no family members have reportedly arrived yet, his body has been kept at the hospital mortuary. The shocking information of his demise has gone viral on social networking websites, with many film fans and YouTubers paying tribute to him.

From character artist to popular YouTube reviewer

Satyendra has featured in several films, including ‘Ezhavathu Manithan’, ‘Mann Vasanai’, and ‘Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupaadu’. He also appeared in several television serials and played supporting and villain roles in a few films, including ‘18 Vayasu’. However, he became more popular among younger audiences through his film reviews on YouTube. Satyendra was a famous commentator for his unique style of commenting on films. Many YouTube channels regularly approached him for movie reviews whenever a new film was released.

‘Karuppu’ review became his final video appearance

Apart from reviewing Tamil films, Satyendra often spoke about world cinema and filmmaking in interviews and online discussions. He later launched his own YouTube channel and continued sharing reviews in his signature style. His last review was reportedly for Suriya’s film ‘Karuppu’. Soon after, his health condition worsened, according to reports. His demise has now created sadness across the digital entertainment and YouTube space, with fans and members of the film industry mourning his loss on social media.
