About the film’s adaptationIn the film ‘Devdas,’ Jackie took on the role and received much praise for his performance. The movie, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is an adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s famous 1917 novel. The story had previously been brought to the big screen in 1955, starring Dilip Kumar as Devdas, and that version was also a major hit. Govinda’s personality and popularityIn the same interview, Sunita mentioned that Govinda has been connected to the film industry since childhood, but initially had no knowledge about movies. She described him as an independent person who remains grounded even today. According to her, he never likes to be part of any group but prefers to create his own circle. Wherever he goes, he spreads love, and people, in turn, love him, which is why he became ‘Hero No. 1.’ She also said that people accept Govinda in that way.Divorce rumorsRumors about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s separation had been circulating on social media, stirring fan concerns. However, Sunita has repeatedly denied these claims, affirming the strength of their relationship. Reports surfaced that she filed for divorce in December 2024, citing cruelty and adultery.
