Kate Middleton’s issues with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Meghan Markle’s behaviour with staff was not accepted by Kate Middleton; it set them ‘on an entirely different course'

Famed journalist Russell Myers is about to release a book titled ‘William and Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story’, which explores the lives of the royal couple and family. Ahead of its release, Myers opened up about a certain part of the book that explored Kate Middleton and Prince William’s relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Kate Middleton was not okay with how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were with palace staff

HELLO! reported that one of the excerpts from the book talks about how Middleton disliked the way Meghan Markle and Prince Harry treated members of the palace staff. Myers claimed that “At first she had thought [Prince] William and Harry’s squabbles were rooted in immaturity or stubbornness, on both sides, but Harry and Meghan’s attitude towards palace staff, who she and William cared about, set the couples on an entirely different course.”As per the book, Middleton and Prince William had wished to create a supportive environment in the palace with their staff members; however, Markle’s behaviour was causing concern at the time. It was also cited in the report that while she thought that the interactions between Prince William and Prince Harry were ‘immature’, the problem was more deeply rooted. Another statement added that “She believed William and Harry’s fundamental differences as the ‘heir and the spare’ had created the inevitability of Harry wanting more from his role than being a bit-part player. ”

Not the first mention of Meghan Markle’s behaviour towards staff members

This is not the first time that concerns regarding Meghan Markle’s behaviour towards staff members have come to light. The Times had reported back in 2021 that a complaint was filed against the Duchess of Sussex because of her alleged behaviour towards staff. The complaint was filed by Markle and Prince Harry’s former communications secretary, Jason Knauf. The complaint cited that Markle had bullied two personal assistants, who had then left the house, along with another employee, because of similar reasons. At the time, an investigation was also launched into the matter. Markle has kept up and has denied the allegations that had surfaced against her.

When did Kate Middleton stop trying to connect with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

As per Fox News Digital, the ‘final straw’ came later on when the king was diagnosed with cancer. Royal expert Christopher Andersen explained the matter and cited that the statement Prince Harry made regarding his father, King Charles III, and his cancer diagnosis was the final nail in the coffin.“Kate pretty much felt that would be it. She wasn’t going to try anymore. So, she has not. As a result, there has been no chance of any kind of… As a matter of fact, I don’t think we’ll ever see them make amends. At least it’s not on the horizon now,” A statement from Andersen read.
