Unlike the original music video, which was released on Valentine’s Day, the newly dropped clip focuses entirely on Salman and Chitrangda while leaning heavily into themes of love, longing and separation. This clip was also shot entirely in black and white, a contrast to the film’s original song, which featured bold colours amid bright settings. The original version of ‘Main Hoon’, depicted the journey of a soldier’s family, from joyful moments spent together to the quiet loneliness that follows when duty calls. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ayan Lall, the song captures the sacrifices demanded by our brave men and women in uniform.
‘Maatrubhumi’ release date
The latest music video release arrives amid growing anticipation surrounding tthe release of ‘Maatrubhumi’, which is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Previously titled ‘Battle of Galwan’, the film, reportedly inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China, was later renamed.Although the film had initially been expected to be released on April 17, the makers are yet to announce a new release date.
