When Ajith Kumar met death face to face: 'Vidaamuyarchi' star's near-death experience that left fans shocked

Popular South actor Ajith Kumar is known to his fans as Thala, derived from his popular movies, fearless personality, and simplicity. Besides being an actor, he is well-known for his great love for motorsports and adventure sports. Through the years, he has been appreciated not only for his onscreen appearance but also for his ability to handle challenging experiences in his personal life with great courage.

Racing accidents that became Ajith’s major turning points

One shocking occurrence in Ajith’s life was in the race car industry. The dedicated actor, who took part in different international races, experienced several car accidents while driving on tough and risky tracks. In one occurrence while racing for Formula in Malaysia, Ajith reportedly crashed his car after losing control during practice. This event raised alarm among fans because it showed how risky the sport was. Although he was injured, this accident remains one of the most memorable events in his life.

Years of injuries and pain never stopped Ajith

Apart from racing accidents, Ajith also struggled with severe spinal and leg injuries for many years. The actor has gone through different surgeries owing to injuries received while filming and participating in races. At one point, he spoke about living with physical agony because of spinal issues. Even though his doctors suggested being more careful, Ajith was still acting in films and performing action sequences. Injuries incurred as a result of accidents during the shooting of movies such as ‘Valimai’ and ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ greatly concerned fans. The online world saw videos where he fell off bikes and cars on the film set and almost got seriously injured.

Ajith Kumar’s recent racing victory and cinema comeback

Recently, Ajith has once again grabbed attention because of his prowess in racing, which clearly shows his love for the sport remains as fervent as ever. As per reports, Ajith will work alongside Aadhik Ravichandran in his 64th movie, and the film will mark the reunion of the ‘Good Bad Ugly’ duo.
