Prashanth Neel is surely one of the most successful commercial filmmakers in Indian cinema today. The director has built a strong reputation through large-scale blockbusters including ‘Salaar’ and ‘KGF’ and is currently focused on his next highly anticipated project, ‘Dragon’, starring Jr NTR. Prashanth Neel has always maintained a low public profile. Unlike many celebrities, he rarely offers a glimpse into his personal life and prefers to keep attention firmly on his work rather than his lifestyle.Reports published earlier by MenXP suggested that the filmmaker owns an upscale residence in Bengaluru. The property is believed to be located in Siroya Environ, a premium residential community in Hebbal, one of the city’s sought-after neighbourhoods.

Luxury residence in Bengaluru

According to reports from the same portal, homes within the residential complex are valued at several crores. Property prices are said to vary depending on the size and specifications of individual units. The filmmaker has never publicly showcased his home in detail. However, reports indicate that the residence reflects the comfort and privacy preferred by the director and his family.Prashanth Neel himself is known for leading a relatively quiet life away from industry glamour.

‘Dragon’ director speaks about personal sacrifices

In an earlier interview with Kairam Vaashi, Prashanth Neel opened up about the personal cost of making ambitious films.Speaking about the pressures that come with directing major productions, Prashanth Neel said, “Physically very bad, it is a part of that stress. My personal has been not great, but that is something that I have accepted. Why would I have taken Salaar immediately after that (KGF)? That is a personal choice I made. My family also knows about it.”The filmmaker acknowledged that balancing family responsibilities with his professional ambitions has been one of the biggest challenges of his life.Prashanth Neel also reflected on the limited time he has been able to spend with his children because of his demanding schedules. He said, “I have not given enough time for my kids. I meet my kids once in three months, that too when they cry. I immediately go. But I have chosen to do it. It’s not a penalty, it’s a personal choice.”The director went on to make an emotional confession about the sacrifices he believes he has made in pursuit of his cinematic goals.“I have been a bad father, bad husband, bad son, bad brother and a horrible friend. Everything I have sacrificed for cinema and what I want to get out of cinema.”Prashanth Neel married Likhitha Reddy in 2010. The couple has two children, Rayansh Neel and Sarayu Neel.

‘Dragon’ glimpse sparks excitement

Meanwhile, excitement surrounding ‘Dragon’ continues to grow among moviegoers. The makers recently released a special glimpse of the film shortly before Jr NTR’s birthday. The preview introduced audiences to Jr NTR’s character, Luger, who is portrayed as an assassin. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the action entertainer also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Anil Kapoor, Biju Menon and Sidhant Gupta in important roles.Scheduled for release on June 11, 2027, ‘Dragon’ is already one of the most anticipated Indian films.DISCLAIMER: Figures presented in this article are derived from various public sources and are considered approximate unless explicitly noted.
