A shocking incident of gun violence has been reported from Delhi’s Amar Colony area, where a 17-year-old boy was shot outside a restaurant following a minor argument. The injured teenager is currently in critical condition and is undergoing treatment at the AIIMS Trauma Centre. According to preliminary investigation, the victim was sitting with his friends at a restaurant when a group of youths passed by the location. During this, one of the individuals allegedly made physical contact with the victim, which led to an objection from the teenager. This small disagreement quickly escalated into a heated verbal altercation between both sides. Police reports suggest that after the initial argument, the accused left the spot but later returned and confronted the teenager again. The situation escalated further, and during the confrontation, one of the accused allegedly opened fire at close range, hitting the minor on the head area. The sudden attack created panic in the busy locality. Emergency services were immediately informed, and the injured boy was first taken to a nearby hospital before being referred to AIIMS Trauma Centre for advanced treatment. Doctors have stated that his condition remains serious but stable. Delhi Police have cordoned off the entire area and initiated a detailed investigation. CCTV footage from nearby establishments is being examined, and eyewitnesses are being questioned to establish the sequence of events. One accused has already been arrested, while efforts are underway to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in the incident.
