Delhi Crime: Teen Shot Outside Amar Colony Restaurant After Argument, Police Hunt Attackers Urgent.

A shocking shooting incident in Delhi’s Amar Colony has triggered panic after a 17-year-old boy was critically injured outside a restaurant following a minor argument. According to preliminary police findings, the teenager was eating with friends near the restaurant when a group of young men passed by the location. During the interaction, one of the accused allegedly brushed against the victim, leading to an exchange of words between both sides. Witnesses said the confrontation quickly escalated and one of the suspects opened fire at the teenager before fleeing from the spot with his associates. The victim collapsed after sustaining gunshot injuries and was immediately rushed for medical treatment. Doctors at the AIIMS Trauma Centre are currently treating the injured teenager, and his condition is reported to be serious. Delhi Police reached the scene soon after receiving information about the firing and began collecting evidence from the area. Investigators are examining CCTV footage installed near the restaurant and questioning eyewitnesses to identify the attackers. Police officials believe the incident stemmed from a sudden dispute and are conducting raids to trace the suspects involved in the firing. The shocking attack in the Amar Colony area has raised fresh concerns over public safety and violent crime in the national capital. Residents and local business owners remain worried after the late-night violence, while authorities have assured strict action against those responsible. Security measures across nearby markets are also expected to increase following the incident. Local residents demanded stronger policing, faster emergency response, and stricter action against illegal weapons circulating in the city. Officials said multiple teams are working to identify every person connected to the attack and promised that arrests would be made soon. The investigation remains active as police continue searching for leads.
