Audience reviews for ‘Athiradi’ are mostly positive

The film is receiving encouraging feedback online, though some viewers have pointed out uneven pacing. One wrote, “A college entertainer that really works in theatres. Right from the beginning, the film makes its setting and plot very clear with the college fest backdrop and the chaos around it. It quickly pulls us into the characters and their world without wasting much time. What makes the movie work is how it balances two layers at once – a fun-filled entertainer on the surface and an emotional connection underneath. Even though the middle portions feel slightly stretched at times, the opening and especially the last twenty minutes deliver some of the film’s best moments.”Another one wrote, “Athiradi – An Average Watch. The movie turns out to be an okay one-time watch mainly because of its comparatively engaging second half. The first half feels flat and lacks enough interesting moments to keep the momentum alive. Even throughout the film, the graph keeps fluctuating- whenever a high moment arrives, the very next scene pulls it down again.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
