Breaking News: PM Modi to Visit Flood-Hit Areas as Punjab Battles Devastating Floods | ABP NEWS

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit the flood-affected regions to assess the damage caused by heavy rains and floods. Several states including Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab are grappling with severe flooding. Punjab, in particular, has been hit hard, with 43 casualties reported so far. Entire villages, towns, and farmlands remain submerged, leaving many residents stranded on rooftops. The Indian Army, NDRF, and NGOs are actively involved in rescue and relief efforts, distributing food and essential supplies. Local communities have united, putting aside differences to support each other during this crisis. Celebrities like Sonu Sood, Randeep Hooda, Shah Rukh Khan, and others have also extended their help and prayers. The situation remains critical as floodwaters continue to disrupt daily life, but the combined efforts of authorities, volunteers, and citizens provide hope amid the devastation.
