Eurovision 2026 Grand Final: Australia viewing guide

Eurovision 2026 Grand Final: Australia broadcast time, streaming details and complete viewing guide

Australia has a very special reason to tune in to Eurovision 2026 this year — Delta Goodrem has made it through to the Grand Final, flying the flag for Australia on the world’s biggest music stage. The ‘Eclipse’ singer wowed the crowd during her semi-final performance in Vienna, securing her place among the 25 acts competing tonight. More than 166 million people from around the world are expected to tune in to this year’s contest and Australians will not want to miss their moment. This is the world’s largest annual live music event, now in its landmark 70th year, and Australia is right in the thick of it.

When to watch the Eurovision 2026 Grand Finalee in Australia

The Grand Final takes place on Sunday, May 17 at 5am AEST. For those who prefer a sleep-in, a primetime replay will air on May 17 at 7.30pm AEST. The competition itself is being held live from Vienna’s Wiener Stadthalle, with 25 countries taking to the stage on the night. Set those alarms early — this is one you will not want to catch on replay if you can help it.

Where to watch Eurovision 2026 in Australia

The Grand Final can be watched live on SBS and SBS On Demand. Both the live broadcast and the primetime replay will be available for Australian viewers across the full duration of the show. SBS has been broadcasting Eurovision for more than 30 years, making it the natural home of the contest for Australian fans. Whether you are watching live at 5am or catching the replay in the evening, SBS has you covered.

Delta Goodrem is through to the Grand Final

Australia’s own Delta Goodrem wowed the crowd during her semi-final performance in Vienna with her new track ‘Eclipse’, securing her place among the 25 acts competing in tonight’s Grand Finale. It was a strong and confident performance that reminded the world exactly why Goodrem is one of Australia’s most celebrated artists. Australia is one of ten countries to have advanced from the semifinals, alongside Bulgaria, Ukraine, Norway, Romania, Malta, Cyprus, Albania, Denmark and Czechia. With the whole country watching, the pressure is on — but if her semi-final performance was anything to go by, Goodrem is more than ready for the moment.

Who won Eurovision 2025

Last year, Austrian-Filipino artist JJ won the Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Wasted Love’ , a victory that handed Austria the hosting rights for this year’s contest in Vienna. Australia’s 2025 entrant Go-Jo did not qualify for that year’s Grand Final, making Delta Goodrem’s run this year all the more exciting for Australian fans. Tonight, Australia has a real shot at making history on the Eurovision stage. Go to Source
