A fire broke out in the Hyderabad–Jaipur Special Express at Nampally Railway Station when flames suddenly erupted in the AC 3-tier coach (B1) while the train was stationed at platform number four. Panic spread immediately among passengers as smoke and fire were seen coming out of the coach. Railway and fire services rushed to the spot and quickly brought the situation under control. All passengers were safely evacuated, and fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Preliminary suspicion suggests a possible short circuit, though an official investigation is underway. In another incident, a 4-year-old child who fell into a 30-foot borewell in Hoshiarpur was rescued safely after a 9-hour operation conducted by NDRF and SDRF teams. Rescue workers used oxygen supply, dug a parallel tunnel, and successfully retrieved the child, who has now been admitted to hospital in stable condition. Meanwhile, in the United States, a freight train collided with a tanker truck at a railway crossing in Virginia, injuring the driver. The impact was severe, causing the tanker to overturn. Authorities are investigating all three incidents separately.
