Amid ongoing chatter around her marriage with Govinda, Sunita Ahuja was recently spotted with her son Yashvardhan Ahuja at veteran actor Dharmendra’s residence for Ganpati darshan. Pictures from the visit have surfaced online, capturing warm moments of the mother-son duo with Dharmendra, who looked equally delighted to host them.Another heartwarming frame from the darshan shows Sunita and Yashvardhan posing alongside Hema Malini and her daughter Esha Deol, adding a touch of nostalgia to the festive evening.

Sunita once confessed she married Govinda because he reminded her of teenage crush Dharmendra

Interestingly, Sunita has never shied away from expressing her admiration for Dharmendra, often calling him her teenage crush. In fact, she once revealed that the legendary star was a big reason behind her decision to marry Govinda. “Maine Govinda se shaadi hi isliye ki because he resembles Dharam ji. Dono Punjabi hai,” she had shared, adding that she even confessed the same to Dharmendra himself.She further recalled that Govinda’s performance in Sandwich reminded her so much of the veteran actor that it reaffirmed her choice.

Days after quashing separation rumors, Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja came together once again, this time for the ‘visarjan’ of Lord Ganesha at their Mumbai residence. On Friday, the family bid adieu to Ganpati Bappa with love and joy. In a video from the occasion, their son Yashvardhan Ahuja was seen carrying the idol as the family prepared for the visarjan.Govinda and Sunita, dressed in matching white outfits, were seen smiling and dancing together as everyone sang along. Sunita wore a red and white printed suit, while Govinda kept it traditional in white.Earlier this week, the couple put an end to speculation about trouble in their marriage during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.Speaking to the media during the celebration, Sunita strongly dismissed the ongoing rumours about their marriage and said that people should not believe such talk unless they themselves speak about it.Govinda and Sunita, who have been married since 1987, are proud parents to Tina and Yashvardhan.
