Alia Bhatt is all set for her big return to the Cannes red carpet. The actress, who is the face of an international beauty brand, is set to make her grand appearance at the festival that opens today.

Arriving well in time for the big appearance, Alia was seen creating quite the frenzy at the airport as she touched down in the French Riviera. Videos doing the rounds online see the Bollywood star drawing a wave of media attention as photographers and fans gathered to catch a glimpse of her at the airport.

The star was seen accompanied by her bodyguard and her team, who helped keep her a safe distance from the photographers. On her arrival at her hotel, she was given a warm welcome. Not only was a huge banner with her picture displayed on the hotel, but paparazzi was also seen calling out her name and pleading with her to pose for photos on her arrival.However, the actress was seen just smiling and waving as she made her way into the hotel.

‘Hot’ bodyguard steals attention

Fans quickly shifted their attention towards the bodyguard accompanying Bhatt. Several users noted that the hunk alongside the actress, appeared to have been part of her security team during last year’s Cannes appearance as well. On spotting him, fans of the boydguard quickly took to social media to react to the footage in the comments. One said, “Alia bhatt slaying at airport too… Also that bodyguard is back” another remarked, “That bodyguard again!” Another teased, “can’t wait to see mommy alia bhatt with all her hot bodyguards, the one behind is the hottest, but the one in the front was always there..literally there, everywhere.”

Alia Bhatt to make second appearance at Cannes

Alia is returning to Cannes for the second consecutive year as a global ambassador for a beauty brand. The festival is scheduled to run from May 12 to May 23 and is expected to see several international celebrities and film personalities walk the red carpet.

On the professional front, Bhatt will next star in the upcoming spy thriller ‘Alpha’ alongside Sharvari Wagh, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The film is directed by Shiv Rawail, known for directing the series ‘The Railway Men’. She will also be seen in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’ that is slated to release in 2027.
