We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble.”She also thanked supporters for their messages during her pregnancy, adding: “Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers during my pregnancy – I truly felt them throughout the entire experience. God is Good.”Leavitt began maternity leave in late April 2026 and is expected to return to her White House role after spending time with her family. Leavitt told Fox News before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last month that President Donald Trump’s speech would be “funny” and that “there will be some shots fired tonight in the room.” The phrase was meant as a normal expression for political jokes that the POTUS usually makes in his speeches.
