BREAKING: Tension Escalates in Madhyamgram After Chandranath Rath Killing

Tension continues to escalate in Madhyamgram after the killing of Chandranath Rath, personal assistant of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. Following the news of his death, BJP workers gathered outside the hospital where Rath was taken and staged a protest, demanding immediate arrest of the attackers. The situation turned chaotic, forcing authorities to deploy heavy police forces to control the crowd and prevent further escalation. Eyewitness Vishal, who was present near the incident site, described the attack in detail. He said he was near a shop when he heard gunshots and saw a man firing multiple rounds after a vehicle was suddenly stopped. According to him, the attacker appeared to be wearing a cap and fired around three to four shots before fleeing. He also mentioned that panic spread quickly as people ran for safety. Police investigation is ongoing, with forensic teams and CCTV analysis underway to trace the attackers.
