P H Manoj Pandian (also Manoj Pandian) of AIADMK is the current MLA as of March 2026, having won in 2021 with 74,153 votes (36.44% share), defeating DMK’s Poongothai (70,614 votes) by a margin of 3,539 votes, with voter turnout at 77.4% and no changes since.
