“Make your life miserable”: Candace Owens hits back at Donald Trump over “vile” remark during livestream

Candace Owens addressed criticism from Donald Trump during a livestream after he called her “vile” in a Truth Social post. Responding with sarcasm, she questioned the motive behind his remarks and suggested political pressure may be involved. Owens framed the attack as part of an ongoing pattern, hinting at deeper dynamics while avoiding a detailed rebuttal of the claims.

The latest fight between Donald Trump and Candace Owens has moved from social media posts to a public back-and-forth that continues to make headlines. What began as a pointed critique from Trump soon morphed into a wider narrative, with Owens choosing to respond in her own way. She didn’t offer a formal rebuttal, but instead answered on the fly with a mix of humor, sarcasm and sharp remarks. The controversy centers on a Truth Social post in which Trump used strong language against Owens while sharing a mock magazine cover. The moment could have ended there. Instead, Owens turned it into a talking point on her show, offering her take on the situation while raising questions about the intent behind the attack.

Candace Owens responds with sarcasm and sharp commentary

Owens opened her livestream with a tone that mixed disbelief and humor.”What did I miss?” she said of last week. “Oh, a Presidential award ceremony where I was awarded Times’s most vile person on earth. Really? Okay Trump. Wow, to what do I owe the honor?”She did not stop there. Expanding on the moment, she added:”More importantly, to whom?” she continued. “I enjoyed the most was the absolute whiplash from Trump’s Truth Social post about me, followed by their administration’s post crying about the ‘Left rhetoric’ – ‘shooting’, if that’s what we are calling it – it’s more of an ‘incident.’ “Her response did not focus on denying the criticism. Instead, it framed the situation as part of a larger pattern, suggesting that such remarks were not new.

Claims of political pressure and hidden motives

As the livestream continued, Owens shifted from humor to a more serious tone. She suggested that the attack may have been influenced by behind-the-scenes dynamics rather than a single disagreement.”Who demanded the tweet? What was he trying to accomplish with it?” she said. It was “a little bit of politicking” she said. “Washington DC runs of blackmail and secrets. And once you discover those secrets, you have two options: fall into line…or don’t stand against us, or we will make your life miserable.”Owens also said Trump has criticized her many times before and described his latest comment as part of a pattern, not an isolated moment. The exchange underscores how quickly political differences can become public spectacles. Both are known for relatively direct styles of communication, and their words often carry weight far beyond a single post or stream. For now, it is a war of narratives, each side telling its own story.
