While North India continues to face intense heat, an unusual weather event has been reported from Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, where parts of the city turned white after heavy hailstorm on Tuesday evening. The hailstorm was particularly strong between Shamsabad and Nadargul on the Outer Ring Road, covering roads with a thick layer of ice that made the area resemble a snowy landscape similar to Kashmir. Locals captured the rare scene on their mobile phones, and the videos quickly went viral on social media. Many people humorously referred to it as “Hyderabadi Himalayas” due to the unexpected white scenery in a city known for its warm climate. According to meteorologists, the sudden hailstorm was caused by rapidly forming clouds and strong winds. Such intense hailstorms are uncommon in Hyderabad, making this event both surprising and memorable for residents who witnessed the dramatic change in weather conditions.
