After welcoming their first child, Dua, in 2024, the duo recently announced that they are expecting their second baby. The news, shared on Sunday, quickly sent fans into a frenzy online. While Ranveer is enjoying the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Deepika is balancing her pregnancy with ongoing work commitments.Amid this, filmmaker Punit Malhotra gave fans a glimpse of the actress from a recent shoot. He posted a picture with Deepika from the sets, where she is seen radiating a subtle pregnancy glow. Dressed in a simple white outfit, the actress chose not to reveal her baby bump, while Punit kept it casual in a T-shirt. Though it remains unclear whether the shoot was for a film or an advertisement, the post has sparked curiosity among fans as it marks her first on-set appearance since the pregnancy announcement.Sharing the moment on Instagram, Punit wrote, “This shoot? 10/10. No notes! Thank you @deepikapadukone for being so warm, gracious and wonderful… truly grateful! I owe you one.” Fans were quick to react in the comments section, showering love on the actress. The announcement drew congratulatory messages from several celebrities, including Kiara Advani, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor.According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times, Deepika has no plans to slow down professionally. “Amidst her pregnancy, Deepika Padukone is shooting intense action sequences for Raaka and will continue to shoot for the film throughout her pregnancy.”On the work front, apart from Raaka, which also stars Allu Arjun, she is set to appear in King alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
