John Abraham calls Raveena Tandon 'tomboy', the internet cannot stop gushing over their friendship as this throwback VIDEO goes viral: 'She's one of the boys'

ot many are aware that John Abraham and Raveena Tandon were extremely close friends many years ago. While Raveena was a hugely established actress since the 90s, John was just beginning his career. Yet, they bonded so well. Their friendship and bonding can be seen in this throwback video which has now gone viral. This clip from Farooq Sheikh’s talk show, ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ has resurfaced as a Reddit user shared it. While Raveena was the guest on the show, many of her friends were called to speak about her and John was one of them. John revealed in this clip, “Woh ekdam samne baithi thi (She was sitting right in front of me), and so then she looked at me and said, ‘I want to dance, come here, take me on the floor.’ That’s how we first met.” Further as he described Raveena, John expressed, “She is a very genuine person. She is just one of the boys, and I like that about her.” When Farooq Sheikh reacted to it and asked him if she’s a tomboy, John said, “Yes, tomboy, another boy friend.” Talking about their bonding, John said, “Many a times when Raveena arrives at the airport, I go to pick her up on the bike with another helmet. She wears it and rides with me on the bike.” When Sheikh asked how Raveena looks with a helmet, John said, “Pyaari.” Raveena shared her side of the story and said that she actually approached John and began talking to him for one of her friends who had a crush on him. She playfully called him a ‘junior artist’ and called herself a senior. Raveena added, “Besides that, what I really liked about John is that he’s one of the most genuine friends.” As this video went viral, netizens can’t stop gushing about them. A user said, “Random as hell. Loving this.” Users also couldn’t stop showering love on John as they dropped fire emojis. A user said, “Raveena Tandon just had an effortless chemistry with everyone. No wonder she was linked up (no one knows how true they were) with almost every actor in the 90s.” Another one wrote, “Banter game is strong between the two. Friendship seems real.” Someone commented, “Unrelated, Raveena is looking so beautiful in this video. Actually she has always been beautiful.”
