In a candid interview for IMDb’s ‘Speed Dating’ series, Janhvi Kapoor’s most notable revelation was her unusual excuse to deter unwanted attention. The actress admitted, “I’ve said I’m married a lot.”Elaborating on the same, the actress talked about the amusing scenarios she’s encountered, particularly when traveling abroad. “Someone coming up to me in person has mostly been outside of India. A lot of waiters in LA would send me their phone number or get me something that I didn’t order.”

The actress went on to share an episode involving her friend and internet personality Orry. The actress said, “I was with Orry once and said he’s my husband.”

During the same interview, Janhvi revealed that the man shouldn’t show up late for the date. She emphasized that the person should arrive earlier than the said time. She added, “They should seem nervous.” The actress further shared that she prefers “emotional and tangible” gestures over materialistic things.

And reportedly, it also has special appearances by Akshaye Khanna and Abhishek Bachchan.The movie tells the love story between a guy from North India and a girl from Kerala. Backed by Dinesh Vijan, the film has been released in theaters today (August 29, 2025). It opened to mixed reviews from the audience, with everyone praising the performances by the lead actors.
