Singer Sonu Nigam has sold multiple land parcels in Karjat, totalling over 1.9 hectares, for a combined value of Rs 1.95 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. All four transactions were registered on April 7, 2026. The documents further show that a total stamp duty of Rs 11.70 lakh was paid for the deals.

Singer Sonu Nigam has sold multiple land parcels in Karjat, totalling over 1.9 hectares, for a combined value of Rs 1.95 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.As per the documents, the transactions were carried out through four separate deals with different buyers. The largest parcel, measuring 0.718 hectares, was sold for Rs 75 lakh. Two other parcels—0.405 hectares and 0.607 hectares—were sold for Rs 50 lakh each, while a smaller 0.208-hectare plot fetched Rs 20 lakh.All four transactions were registered on April 7, 2026. The documents further show that a total stamp duty of Rs 11.70 lakh was paid for the deals.Sonu Nigam is yet to confirm the development.Karjat, located in Maharashtra’s Raigad district near Mumbai, has emerged as a popular destination for land investments and second homes in recent years, owing to its connectivity and scenic surroundings.

The singer has been in the news for multiple real estate transactions over the past year. In 2025, he leased a commercial property in Mumbai’s Santacruz East for a period of five years, with the total rental value pegged at over Rs 12.61 crore. Earlier this year, in February 2026, his father Agam Kumar Nigam purchased a 1,197 sq m land parcel along with a ground-plus-one-floor residential and commercial structure in Madh Island for Rs 10 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras.
