In Noida Sector 62, a large group of workers staged a protest, blocking roads and causing severe traffic congestion. The workers raised serious allegations of exploitation, claiming they are forced to work long hours—from 9 AM to 9 PM—without proper compensation. Many stated they receive low wages, around ₹11,000, despite working overtime and night shifts. They also alleged that they are denied weekly offs, including Sundays, and are pressured into continuous work. Workers further claimed they do not receive salary slips and are misrepresented during inspections, with employers falsely inflating their wages on record. Some even accused factory management of locking gates to prevent workers from leaving during shifts, comparing conditions to bonded labor. Female workers echoed similar concerns, highlighting lack of leave even during illness. Police officials have reached the spot and are attempting to manage the situation, but workers insist they will continue protesting until their demands—fair wages, proper work hours, and basic rights—are addressed.
