Kia Connect has evolved into a core part of the ownership experience, offering over 100 features across categories.Kia India has crossed one lakh paid renewals for its connected car platform, Kia Connect, signalling sustained user adoption beyond the initial free subscription period.
The company said more than 30 per cent of customers opted to renew their subscriptions after the complimentary three-year period, indicating continued demand for connected vehicle services such as remote access, navigation, diagnostics, and safety features.
Kia Connect, introduced in 2019 (initially as UVO), has evolved into a core part of the ownership experience, offering over 100 features across categories, including vehicle management, convenience, and safety. The platform supports technologies such as over-the-air updates, voice assistant integration, and remote vehicle monitoring.
“The continued adoption beyond the complimentary period highlights the everyday value we deliver through enhanced convenience, safety, and control,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President – Sales & Marketing.
The milestone reflects a broader shift in the automotive sector, where connected technologies are becoming integral to vehicle usage rather than optional add-ons. Industry trends indicate growing consumer reliance on real-time data, predictive alerts, and app-based vehicle controls.
Kia India also reported that it has surpassed 5 lakh connected car sales in the country, underlining the scale of adoption of such technologies in the domestic market.
