In the ongoing Iran–US conflict, the United States executed a high-stakes 48-hour rescue mission to save two downed pilots, showcasing military precision and strategic depth. The operation began with one pilot rescued within four hours, followed by electronic warfare to jam Iranian radar and communication systems. Over the next phases, US forces bombed nearby roads, launched surveillance missions, and created diversions to prevent Iranian interception. Despite setbacks, including crashed helicopters, the US intensified strikes on IRGC air defenses and even built a temporary airstrip. Between 36–48 hours, special forces entered Iranian territory and successfully extracted the second injured pilot under heavy fire. The US declared the mission a success, calling it historic. However, Iran disputed these claims, releasing videos alleging destruction of US aircraft, including Black Hawk helicopters and C-130 planes. The mission also involved bunker-buster strikes on IRGC underground facilities to distract Iran. While Washington highlights bravery and success, Tehran calls it a failure, intensifying the information war alongside the battlefield conflict.
