The Middle East conflict has escalated sharply as Iran launched a massive new wave of missile and drone attacks, marking a dangerous new phase in the war. Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) fired its 97th wave of strikes, targeting key locations in Israel including Tel Aviv, Haifa, West Bank, and Petah Tikva. Simultaneously, drone attacks extended to Gulf nations like the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with some intercepted mid-air. Iran deployed a mix of advanced weapons, including Shahab-3, Khorramshahr, and the hypersonic Fattah missile, capable of evading defense systems. The newly revealed Paveh cruise missile has also raised global concerns due to its stealth and long-range precision. These attacks have challenged Israel’s air defense systems such as Iron Dome, with some missiles reportedly bypassing interception. Experts note that several Iranian missiles can reach Israel within minutes, carrying heavy payloads and cluster munitions. As both sides intensify attacks, the region faces growing instability, with fears of wider escalation across the Middle East.
