Skoda Auto India on Wednesday reported its highest-ever quarterly sales in Q1 2026 (January–March), selling 20,028 units, up 17 per cent year on year from 17,138 units in the same period last year.

The company said the strong performance continues the growth momentum built in 2025 and reflects sustained demand across its portfolio.

The quarter was led by the Kylaq, which recently crossed the 50,000 sales milestone. The company also cited the introduction of the new Kushaq, steady volumes from the Slavia and continued demand for the Kodiaq in the premium SUV segment as key contributors.

“Continuing our growth surge into 2026 with our biggest-ever quarter is a strong validation of the momentum we have built over the past year,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India.

“This growth is driven by a combination of a stronger and more accessible product portfolio, deeper market reach, and a sharper focus on customer-centric initiatives,” he added.

The company also said it has expanded its network to 330 customer touchpoints across over 180 cities.

Skoda’s Q1 performance was supported by demand for the Kylaq in the sub-4 metre SUV segment and the newly launched Kushaq, which the company said offers enhanced standard safety and comfort features.
