Robert Pattinson says 'Batman 2' script is 'so, so good', reveals he starts prep within a week: 'It’s taking some big swings'

While talking to ‘C à vous’, a popular French reality show while promoting ‘The Drama,’ the conversation shifted to the actor’s brooding character and what everyone can expect. During the interview, he confirmed that he will start prep for transforming into Batman within a week of finishing his press tour for ‘The Drama,’ leaving fans elated. He stated, “We’ll probably finish this press tour in… a week? And then I’ll immediately start doing Batman stuff. The new script is so, so good.”

This is not the only time the actor has praised the script for the upcoming film. In a recent talk with Deadline, the actor specifically discussed the script for ‘Batman 2.’ At the time, he stated, “I think it’s going to be a really, really, really special movie. And very, very different to… even from the last one. I was reading it, going like, ‘Oh wow! Okay!’ It’s going to be interesting seeing it come out. It’s taking some big swings.”Director Matt Reeves, in a separate interview with The Hollywood Reporter, revealed that the script was sent to the actor in a privacy pouch with secret codes that he had to decipher. He stated that he was having fun with it, and expected the actor to be able to crack the code as well. “I was super excited. I thought that he really would [like it] because the things that it does for his character, for Batman, and for Bruce, have never been done before in this way,” he concluded.

The first ‘Batman’ featuring Robert Pattinson was released in 2022, and also starred Zoe Kravitz in the lead role as Catwoman.
