Arpit Bala breaks silence on throwing bottle back at fan

Singer Arpit Bala breaks silence on throwing bottle back at fan during Hyderabad concert: 'My face is not a bullseye'

Singer Arpit Bala addressed his viral Hyderabad concert clash where a fan threw a bottle at him mid-performance. In a YouTube video, Bala said it wasn’t an explanation but his side of the story, admitting he reacted impulsively out of anger. Known for Bargad, Bala condemned unsafe concert behaviour.

Arpit Bala, the singer, has broken his silence following a viral video from his Hyderabad gig that captured an onstage clash with a fan. It happened at his March 28 performance when someone hurled a bottle at the stage mid-song. Footage reveals him getting furious, pointing out the culprit, tossing the bottle back, and calling security to eject the fan.

Days later, Bala posted a video on YouTube sharing his perspective on the matter. He described it as “not an explanation” but simply his take on what happened. The singer explained, “It’s not an explanation, but I want you to see my side of the story. Everything was fine for the first four songs; everybody was enjoying. Then suddenly, while I was walking, a bottle came and hit me in the eye. The problem isn’t just that it hit me, but that they had already thrown one or two bottles before. When it hit my eye, it broke my flow, and I got angry.”

Arpit Bala on anger and safety hazard

“What I said or did in anger… was it justified? In a way, you could say I should have been the bigger person, but that’s easier said when someone is provoking you. I was hit in the face, and it was not even disrespectful; it was just a safety hazard. My face is not a bullseye”, he further added.Bala admitted his reaction was knee-jerk, confessing he “lashed out” amid the anger. He acknowledged it wasn’t the best move but stressed that such actions go too far. “Out of impulse, I lashed out at them… I shouldn’t have done that… But when you cross boundaries, you can’t expect me to dilly-dally about it.”

Arpit Bala’s rise to fame

Arpit Balabantaray, better known as Arpit Bala, shot to fame with his 2025 hit ‘Bargad’. He’s recognized for tracks like ‘Rakhlo Tum Chhupaake’, ‘Ik Kudi’, ‘Nahani’ and ‘Pyari Amaanat’ too. Go to Source
