Kristi Noem faces a fresh scandal as her husband is found to be a crossdresser who chatted online with models.

Kristi Noem’s apparent reaction to the revelation of her husband Byron Noem’s secret life has gone viral as social media users wondered how the DHS secretary could not know about her husband’s secret life while heading the most important department of the Donald Trump administration. A representative of Kristi Noem said Noem is devastated as the family was blindsided by the revelations of Byron’s crossdressing and asked for prayers and privacy at this time. “Ms Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” the statement said. The Daily Mail revealed that Kristi Noem’s husband crossdresses and pays fetish models online. The revelation raised an alarm as those models got to know that they were chatting with the husband of the DHS secretary. They could have blackmailed the Noems, security experts believe, though Byron told the Daily Mail that he never revealed any sensitive information about his wife. The Daily Mail said they checked whether the photos at the center of the scandal were fake or AI-generated. But their test came out negative, suggesting that those were not fake and even Byron too did not deny the fact that he crossdressed and participated in paid online chatting with models.

Was it a vengeance leak?

As the revelation went viral at a time when Kristi Noem lost her department and rumors about her affair with Corey Lewandowski are rife, an Axios reporter shed some light on who might have led to the leak. Axios reporter Marc Caputo said he received the same lead but did not land any interview with the accuser. “They said an immigrant sex worker, possibly in the country illegally, wanted to go public about Noem’s husband using her services online — it was vengeance for DHS’s immigration enforcement,” Marc said. Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly made fun of the expose and said: “I’m glad Cricket doesn’t have to see this”. Cricket was the dog that Kristi Noem killed as it turned unruly and dangerous. “The media wants to talk about Bryon and Kristi Noem’s personal drama and indiscretions. I want to talk about who is getting deported, who got paid, and who’s stealing from taxpayers. Different priorities. Let’s focus on what matters,” Rep Nancy Mace commented.
