Alongside the photo, she wrote, “Just Amritsar things…”Although the reason behind her visit is still under wraps, the actor is gearing up for her return to Indian cinema with filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Slated as one of the most anticipated releases of 2027, the film has already created significant buzz, leading many to speculate that her Amritsar visit could be linked to its shoot. At the premiere of ‘The Bluff’, Priyanka had earlier spoken highly of Rajamouli and the film. Calling Varanasi a pivotal project in her career, she said, “The filmmaker’s name is SS Rajamouli sir, and he is one of the best that we have in India.
