BREAKING: FPV Drone Strikes, Rising Casualties in Lebanon and Iran Protests Escalate Israel–Hezbollah Conflict

In a rapidly evolving conflict along the Israel–Lebanon border, Hezbollah has released footage claiming the use of advanced First‑Person View (FPV) drones to strike Israeli armored units, marking a notable shift in militant tactics. According to Hezbollah’s statements, these lightweight, camera‑guided drones have targeted and allegedly destroyed at least 21 Israeli tanks in southern Lebanon and northern Israel over the past 24 hours. FPV drones—favored for their low cost, maneuverability, and real‑time video control—have increasingly become a tool for close‑range precision attacks, allowing operators to guide the craft directly to high‑value targets. Simultaneously, the humanitarian toll in Lebanon continues to rise amid sustained Israeli bombardment. Lebanese health officials report over 1,000 fatalities, including 121 children and 83 women, highlighting the conflict’s devastating impact on civilians. Beyond the immediate battlefield, wider regional tensions are also escalating. Large‑scale protests have erupted across multiple cities in Iran, with demonstrators denouncing both Israel and the United States. Authorities characterize these demonstrations as ongoing for nearly a month, reflecting deep public anger over military actions in the region. In a further development, Iran has reportedly launched what it described as the “83rd wave” of missile strikes, with messages inscribed on some munitions expressing gratitude to the “people of Germany” and “people of India”—a symbolic gesture underscoring Tehran’s efforts to appeal to global audiences amid intensifying conflict dynamics.
