With the clocking ticking down to the Diwali release of Nitesh Tiwari’s epic, ‘Ramayana’, it is finally time for the team to kick off their film promotions. Amid much chatter about what the makers have in store for the fans, the details have finally been revealed. As per the latest reports, the makers of the much-anticipated epic are set to begin promotional activities in the United States, marking the first major global outreach. This will take place after the film’s poster and teaser launch, Variety reports.

‘Ramayana’ team to begin promotions in US

The report goes on to state that the leading man, Ranbir Kapoor, will be joined by director Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra for a media interaction event scheduled to take place towards the end of March. The event, will reportedly offer a glimpse into the ambitious project, including exclusive assets from the film.

‘Ramayana’ team plan events in US

Also starring Sai Pallavi and Yash in pivotal roles, the film will be the first in a two-part epic. As for the promotional event, it is expected to be the first in a series of other engagements planned across the US, leading up to the film’s release.This report comes following rumours indicating that the makers are also planning a promotional event at Comic-Con later this year to reach a wider audience.

Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman to score the film

Mounted on a massive budget, ‘Ramayana’ has already generated significant buzz both in India and internationally. The film will also have acclaimed composers Hans Zimmer and A. R. Rahman, scoring the two-part epic.With just months to go until its release, the film’s team has only released teaser images and a concept video, with still no official first look of the characters.

‘Ramayana’ cast and release date

Ranbir Kapoor leads the cast as lord Rama with Ravi Dubey as Lakshman and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Sunny Deol will feature as Hanuman while Yash takes on the role of the antagonist Ravana. ‘Ramayana’ is slated to release on Diwali 2026 with ‘Ramayana Part 2’ slated for a Diwali 2027 release.
