‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 hits series high with critics

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 opens to the highest critic score since the earlier series

Daredevil: Born Again has made a triumphant return for its second season on Disney+, receiving rave reviews with a remarkable 89% score on Rotten Tomatoes. This season, which debuted on March 24, 2026, showcases a sharper storyline and standout performances that have captivated audiences.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 has arrived on Disney+, and the new season is off to a strong critical start. Early coverage from ScreenRant said the Marvel drama opened with a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score, which it described as the series’ best mark since the Netflix era. Since then, the score has shifted as more reviews have been added. Rotten Tomatoes currently lists season 2 at 89% from 45 reviews, while season 1 stands at 87%. That still puts the new season in solid shape as fresh reactions continue to come in.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 online score

ScreenRant was among the first outlets to highlight the strong launch for the new season. Rotten Tomatoes now describes season 2 this way: “Daredevil: Born Again imbues its second season with rich substance thanks to devilishly good performances, punchier narrative momentum, and well-timed themes befitting this daring crusader.” The same Rotten Tomatoes page also shows a 97% audience score from more than 100 ratings as of now.The positive reception matters because season 1 had a more uneven path. With an audience score of 78%, Rotten Tomatoes ranks the first season at 87%. The new season seems to be landing with more consistency, which aligns with several early reviews indicating that the creative direction is clearer this time around.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ season 2 release schedule and Jessica Jones’ return

Disney+ says season 2 premiered on March 24, 2026, and runs for eight episodes, with new installments dropping weekly after the premiere. The platform also confirmed that Krysten Ritter is back as Jessica Jones, marking her first return to the role since the end of Netflix’s ‘Jessica Jones.’ ScreenRant’s Felipe Rangel praised the season’s momentum and wrote, “By the finale, the path forward will be made clear, and it could not be more exciting.” He added, “relentless action, hard-hitting drama, complex characters, several shocking surprises, and more.” With episode 1 now streaming and more reviews still arriving, season 2 has clearly opened on a stronger critical note than many expected.
