Stop dragging him or my personal life fandom wars. Give the due respect to a person’s rights. A past that once made headlines

Kunickaa’s reaction also brings back memories of her much-discussed relationship with Kumar Sanu in the 90s, which had grabbed significant attention at the time. The two reportedly grew close during a difficult phase in the singer’s personal life and were often travelling together for concerts.In a past interview, Kunickaa had said, “I was like a wife to him. I considered him my husband,” indicating the emotional depth of the relationship.

In a 2025 interview, Kunickaa’s son Ayaan offered a candid perspective on the relationship, clarifying timelines and addressing misconceptions.“People are saying that the affair lasted 27 years, but what she actually said was that she was 27 years old when it happened. It lasted a few years… She genuinely loves the artiste. She doesn’t love the man anymore,” he shared.Recalling a personal conversation, he added that Kunickaa once described Kumar Sanu as a “soulmate,” but also admitted, “It was toxic. Very, very toxic.”

During her stint on Bigg Boss 19, Kunickaa herself had spoken about the relationship.
