Tensions remain high in Mathura after the killing of cow protector Chandrashekhar Farasa Wale Baba triggered massive protests. In response to the escalating situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered strict action against all accused, assuring that no one will be spared. The incident, which reportedly occurred around 4:00 AM, led to large-scale outrage, with protesters blocking the Agra-Delhi Highway and engaging in stone-pelting. Despite police efforts and the arrest of one आरोपी (accused), the crowd remained aggressive. Authorities managed to clear the highway after prolonged efforts, but protesters moved into nearby lanes, continuing intermittent clashes with police. Several officers were injured, and police vehicles were damaged during the violence. Senior officials appealed for calm, urging people not to take the law into their own hands while assuring a thorough investigation and strict punishment for those responsible. Additional forces have been deployed, and search operations are ongoing to catch absconding suspects.
