In Mathura, the alleged murder of Chandrashekhar Farsa Wale Baba has triggered massive unrest and violence. The incident reportedly took place around 4:00 AM, when the victim was allegedly run over by a vehicle linked to cattle smugglers. Although one accused has been arrested, anger among locals and cow protectors continues to rise. In protest, a large crowd blocked the Agra–Delhi Highway by placing the body on the road, causing severe traffic disruption with long vehicle queues. The situation soon turned violent as protesters began pelting stones at police forces. Despite heavy deployment, police struggled to control the crowd, resulting in injuries to several personnel and damage to multiple police vehicles. Thousands of people, including youth, gathered at the site, expressing strong anger and demanding strict action against all those responsible. Authorities are making efforts to restore order and clear the highway, but the situation remains tense and volatile.
