On the 22nd day of the escalating war, a major development has emerged as Iran reportedly attempted to strike a nuclear facility in Israel. This marks a serious escalation, with both sides continuing heavy attacks using ballistic missiles and drones. Iran has intensified its retaliation against US and Israeli targets under the 70th wave of “Operation True Promise Four.” Overnight airstrikes continued from both sides, targeting key military and strategic locations. Iranian attacks have focused on major Israeli cities and critical infrastructure, while the US and Israel have carried out strikes inside Iran. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has maintained a firm stance against a ceasefire. Iran’s leadership, including Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that Iran does not seek conflict with Islamic nations. At the same time, Mojtaba Khamenei emphasized national unity against external threats. A key strategic shift came as the United Kingdom allowed the US to use bases like Diego Garcia. In response, Iran launched ballistic missiles toward the base, though they were intercepted before impact. With rising casualties in Lebanon and growing regional involvement, the conflict is becoming more dangerous, raising fears of a wider and potentially catastrophic war.
