‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ teasers release before trailer- WATCH

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day': Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jon Bernthal feature in special glimpses ahead of trailer launch

The first trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is finally set to debut today. In an unconventional promotional strategy, the makers rolled out multiple two-second clips from the trailer, offering brief glimpses of some stand-out moments. The global release strategy followed multiple teaser releases in sequence as ‘the sun rose across different time zones’.

Tom Holland teases trailer launch

“No one can do it alone, not even Spider-Man,” Holland said in a message to fans, encouraging them to “Follow along as the sun rises around the world and our Spider-Man community helps kick off the trailer launch.”

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ trialer clips drop online

The snippets teased action, romance, epic superhero moments and some comic-book accurate recreation of scenes set to feature in the film. One clip teases an intimate moment between Holland’s Peter Parker and Zendaya’s MJ, while another shows Spider-Man swinging in slow motion as he swoops in to save the day.

Sadie Sink and Jon Bernthal’s first look revealed

A lighter moment sees the superhero struck by a van, which serves as a first look at Bernthal’s Punisher, signalling the character’s official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Meanwhile, Sink appears in an action sequence, with her character, widely speculated to be Jean Grey, unleashing her powers and causing a massive explosion inside a building. The official rollout comes months after the trailer was leaked online earlier this year. Initially dismissed by some as AI-generated, the clips were later confirmed to be the official trailer after Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios scrambled to remove them from various online portals.A second, recorded version of the trailer later reappeared online, prompting speculation that the studio might unveil the trailer during the Super Bowl. ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ releases in cinemas on July 31.
