Kabul Under Fire: Pakistan–Afghanistan Conflict Intensifies, Massive Airstrikes Hit Kabul, Hundreds Feared Dead

Amid the ongoing Middle East war, intense fighting has also erupted between Pakistan and Afghanistan, with both sides engaged in continuous retaliation. In a major escalation, Pakistan launched one of its largest airstrikes on the Afghan capital Kabul, targeting five locations across the city. Reports suggest that over 400 people have been killed and more than 250 injured in the attacks. The strikes were carried out using advanced fighter jets, including the F-16 Fighting Falcon and JF-17 Thunder. Visuals from Kabul show massive explosions, towering flames, and thick black smoke engulfing parts of the city. Targets reportedly included areas near the Afghan Defense Ministry, intelligence headquarters, and residential zones close to the Presidential Palace. A rehabilitation hospital near Kabul International Airport was also reportedly hit, causing severe destruction. Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan condemned the attack, calling it inhumane and urging a UN investigation. While Afghanistan accused Pakistan of targeting civilians, Pakistan denied the claims, stating only military bases and weapons depots were struck.
