Tensions across the Middle East have surged dramatically as Iran launched a massive coordinated assault involving missiles and drones against multiple countries in the region. The latest barrage, described as the 50th wave under Iran’s “Operation True Promise,” targeted Israel, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain, triggering air raid sirens and emergency defense responses across several cities. Israeli regions, including Tel Aviv and areas around Ben Gurion Airport, reported explosions as missile defense systems attempted interceptions. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia claimed it successfully shot down multiple drones near Riyadh, while the UAE activated advanced missile defense systems to neutralize incoming threats. The escalation comes on the 16th day of an intense regional conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Washington has claimed that Iran’s missile capability has been reduced by around 90 percent and its drone capacity by 95 percent due to ongoing strikes. U.S. officials also stated that more than 6,000 targets inside Iran have been hit and over 65 Iranian naval vessels destroyed during the conflict. Despite these claims, Iran continues to retaliate with widespread attacks across the region, raising fears of a full-scale Middle East war and further destabilization of global security and energy routes.
