Saif Ali Khan talks about balancing work and family

When Soha mentioned that it made sense since Saif often stays away for shoots, the actor agreed and explained, “It has evolved in a way… But it is possible, and it helps if one is successful. I can name a few people, colleagues and friends of mine in this industry who have balanced it well. They start work at 7 am. The camera rolls at 9 am and they get a lot of work done in a day as well as see their children in the evening before they sleep. It is all a balance where one has a month or two of intensive work and then they are off for a while to maintain the comfort.”

Saif Ali Khan compares work-life balance to mountain climbing

Saif further explained that he has always viewed this idea of balance through the metaphor of climbing a mountain. He said that to scale a mountain, one must have a strong base camp, but if someone keeps climbing endlessly, that base camp ceases to exist. Therefore, maintaining the base camp is important to preserve one’s ability to continue the climb.

Saif Ali Khan’s journey from debut to stardom

The early 2000s proved to be a turning point in his career, with movies like ‘Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’ and ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ helping him move beyond the typical romantic-hero image. His acclaimed, intense performance in ‘Omkara’ further fastened his reputation and opened doors to more layered roles.

Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Saif was last seen with Jaideep Ahlawat in ‘Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins’, a fast-paced action thriller directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal that premiered on Netflix. His next project is Priyadarshan’s ‘Haiwaan’, which also reunites him with Akshay Kumar. Go to Source
